Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Home Stay Scheme

The houses become deserted every day, the walls of the houses slowly dying and our elders living in them, the old eyes of the elders walking along the roads, who are hoping for the return of their children.

Those barren lands, which are deteriorating without rain, and the danger of wild animals, are the only story left of our Devbhoomi Uttarakhand.

The Uttarakhand state government has made a possible effort to revive these houses, named Deendayal Upadhyay Grih Awas Yojana (Home Stay).

There is only one way to stop migration from the mountains and that is to bring employment to Uttarakhand.
